A Month Lost

Hello trusty backers,
I am farther behind than I had hoped to be at this point in the project. On top of the holidays, I've had some struggles over the past month that have greatly reduced my productivity. I am going through an unexpected divorce.
Yesterday I went to therapy for the first time, and then filed the divorce paperwork to get things moving. Submitting the papers was surprisingly cathartic.
Today I am back to working on the Crew Member manual.
In January, I will get the pledge manager up and running. One of the new items that I will be adding to the pledge manager is a Vast Grimm Time Tablez! I have always wanted my own swatch-style watches. Hopefully, you will dig it as much as I do.
I apologize for the slight delay in this project. I will be getting it back on track.

Hello my LEGION!
Thank you so much for helping make Vast Grimm Escaping Stasis a success!
Over the next two months, I will be finalizing all of the items for the campaign to get them ready for production. I am going to keep late pledges open here on Kickstarter for a little while to see if we can hit that $54k stretch goal.
Then sometime in December, I will open the pledge manager on Backerkit. This will allow me to gauge the quantities I need to print for all of the items. I don't plan to charge for any add-ons from the Pledge Manager until January, and I'll be sure to give everyone a 2-week heads-up before I do.
Along the way, I will be posting status updates here and on my Patreon (there is a free tier for many of the updates).

A Couple of Places I Will Be
Next weekend I will be at Mythic Con in Charlotte, NC. 2 weeks after that, I will be at PAX Unplugged in Philly.

New Stretch Goal – The Count Down is On!

Hello trusty backers!
The campaign will be coming to a close in about 80 hours, and we are inching closer to unlocking some new stretch goals! I have added a Stretch Goal Guide image to the top of the page to better understand what comes with each pledge level.
As you can see above, I have added the Printed Adventure Generator Zine! Should we hit $48k, this will be included with the Legionnaire and All-In pledge level for free. It will also become available as an add-on in the pledge manager.
We are awfully close to unlocking the Zac Goins adventure generator, which will bump it from 5 guest writers to 6!
Don't forget, we also have the Double Stretch Goal coming up when we hit $50k.
Now's the time to help spread the infection! Let your friends know the clock is ticking to back the campaign. With your help, we will crush these next few stretch goals.

$50k Double Stretch Goal Announcement
Hello trusty backers! I know we are still a ways off from the $50k mark, but I wanted to share what I have in the works!
Adventure Generator Digital Randomizer
The amazing generator builder CodeLiches, who built the Vast Grimm character generator, is back to combine all of the stretch goal Adventure Generators into one massive page of clickable coded goodness. Now you’ll be able to create random adventures with the click of a button!
Vast Grimm Horde 3rd Party Expansion – Alien Invasion
The Vast Grimm 3rd-Party license has been in existence from the very start. But today, with this project, I would like to do something different. I want to take some of the 3rd-Party creations under my wing and publish them so that they can be sold anywhere Vast Grimm is sold.
In the past, for the Volatile ‘Verse anthology, there were guest writers, and I did the art. For this, I want to be hands-off, except for selection. I (with the help of some industry friends) will select 3 pitches to move forward with.
Here’s what they’ll get: 🚀 $500 upon completion and delivery of final files. 🚀 % royalty of all sales of the zine for the next 15 years. If there are 3 adventures, they will recieve 16.66%. (Creature Curation retains 50%, the remaining will be split equally among the contributors) 🚀 Retain ownership. Creature Curation will have exclusive rights to it for 3 years, but you still own everything. 🚀 Digital access to all Vast Grimm content to date.
The theme of this should revolve around sentient alien life forms. It’s time to get even weirder with Vast Grimm. I have introduced a few alien species in the past, and have a couple more in the Threat Registry, but I want to see what ideas other creators have.
As I mentioned previously, one of the best things about the tabletop industry is the friends we make playing games together! Here is another project I believe in.
